Reflexology and Premenstrual Symptoms

Terry Oleson, PhD and William Flocco published their study Randomized controlled study of premenstrual symptoms treated with ear, hand, and foot reflexology in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Vol. 82, No. 6, December 1993. Their conclusion was that the "clinical findings support the use of ear, hand, and foot reflexology for the treatment of PMS."

Welcome to my blog! A little about me:

I am the owner of The Barefoot Dragonfly, a full-time Reflexology practice in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Eunice Ingham's books "Stories the Feet have Told" and "Stories the Feet can Tell" sparked my interest in Reflexology in the late 1990's. Some years later I found myself enrolling in the Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork's Reflexology Certification Course. Currently I practice several styles (modalities) of Reflexology including: American Standard, Father Josef, Ayurvedic, William "Bill" Flocco and more.
